Virtual Life-Skills Workshops for International Schools
What a live, online student wellbeing workshop looks like when it is run by a 20-year classroom educator — and how schools anywhere in the world can host one.
For: Principals · Heads of pastoral care
International schools in Dubai, Singapore, Nairobi, Bangkok and Doha increasingly want wellbeing programming that is more than a one-off motivational talk.
Krishnamani Ma'am is an MA, B.Ed, CIEFL-trained educator and Intel Master Trainer with over twenty years in classrooms. Her online sessions are built like lessons, not like keynotes.
The format schools choose most
A single 90-minute live session for one grade level works well as an introduction. A three-part series across a term produces measurable change in how students speak about focus, comparison and failure.
Teacher briefings before the session and a parent orientation afterwards are available on request, so the language used in the workshop continues at home.
What students actually do
They name their empowering and disempowering emotions. They practise a two-minute journaling method that settles the mind before study. They learn how attention is trained, and why the phone makes it harder.
In Effective Communication in English Language sessions they speak — on camera, in front of peers — and receive specific, kind feedback.
Scheduling across timezones
Sessions are scheduled inside your school day, whatever your timezone. Gulf, Southeast Asian, African, European and American school hours are all workable.
